Kansas City

Wow! It's been a while since I have made a post in my blog. Things have been so busy, but I couldn't be happier! My cousin got home from his mission finally in July and I got the chance to go and see him for his homecoming! We had such a great time and I can't wait to see him again! I started school at Kansas City Kansas Community College and I like it so far. I am on the Women's soccer team at the school and I love it, I am so happy to be playing soccer again! My position used to be defender but this year I started as Forward, but surprisingly I love it! My teammates are awesome! I am working at a post office place right now and it is going okay. As soccer comes to an end though, I will look for another job so I can get more hours during the off season! Halloween is coming up and I couldn't be more excited, it is really my favorite time of year besides Christmas :) I hope to keep on this good pace with soccer, school and work. I thought this would be very difficult, which it is challenging, but not as hard as I thought and I think i'm managing well! That's all I have for now, I will try and get on here more now! :)

Craziness!

So it's official, I moved to Kansas to move back in with my parents! It was a very quick decision, but so far things are going great and I do think it was the right thing to do at the time. I am in the process of looking for a job, I have had a few interviews and I am almost positive I got a job at a dental office down town here, just waiting on the call back. Crossing my fingers! It's really nice to be back with my parents and siblings and be able to be a part of everything. My sister is still doing gymnastics and has been doing very well. My little brother has a birthday coming up in May and he is turning 5! It's crazy how time can fly by, I remember the day my mom gave birth to him. My stepdad graduates from the war college this summer and my mom started another full time job at a hospital. Kansas is a nice area, but definitely different then what we're used to, but we are all looking forward to what Kansas can bring to our family! That's all that is new for now! :)

OH! Just a little reminder that my cousin JJ comes home in 4 months! I am more excited than anything to go to his homecoming and see him after 2 years!

Ups & Downs

Things have been up and down since my last post. A lot happened and I am looking for another job at a different dental offices. Trying to keep my head up through all of this has been the hardest. I am still counting down the days until my cousin comes home from his mission. I recently got the chance and money to buy a plane ticket home to see my family in Kansas! :) I am so excited. It will be nice to see them again even though I saw them a month ago. Other than that nothing else has really happened. A lot of my friendships have been tested lately and i'm glad that I finally figured out who my real friends were. I hope to find a job this week and get a working interview. Nothing would make me happier at the time!

New Job!

It has been a while since i've written in my blog. I started working at a hair salon as a receptionist and liked it for the most part, but it just is not my ideal job. I've decided to put school on hold for a little bit and get my foot in the door in the dental field. I applied at about six dental offices as an assistant and got an interview within a few days. I went in for the interview and they hired me on the spot. I start my new job on Wednesday and i'm nervous but very excited to be doing something that will better my career down the road. Other than that i'm still living with my aunt and I like living in Arizona. I do miss my family, but I visit them when I can. Still counting down the days until my cousin comes home and he will be home in about 7 months. I'm so excited to be able to see him! There is finally a new chapter starting in my life with this new job and everything else and I couldn't be happier right now!
